The nation-building layer — receiving refugees, passing edicts, growing the sanctuary — is mechanically light but thematically load-bearing: every governance choice reflects on what kind of protector you are, and Doris reacts. Japanese players call this structure 一点豪華主義 ("one-point luxury") — everything sacrificed for one perfect element — approvingly.

The honest limits: 5-10 hours, one heroine, a sim layer that won't survive scrutiny as strategy, and a DLsite-only release that keeps the payment wall between Western players and the game. It won its DLsite English Award 2024 (Bronze) anyway, on pure execution.
